To anyone entering this field, I’d say try to understand each client’s needs first. That is the best way to find a good solution for them. Also, communication and writing skills are vital in our profession.
Every day I brainstorm ideas for drafting amendments and remarks. I spend a lot of time communicating with clients, which I enjoy, even when the inquiries are tough—no pain, no gain. I also enjoy collaborating with our internal team.
I agree with Kalyan C. Kankanala: “Quality IP comes from quality effort.”
Accommodating different cultures can be a challenge in our work. I always strive to find the best solutions for collaborating with our international clients. I’m very familiar with the differences between American and Asian business cultures, and I think this is my strongest attribute.
My best achievements have come from my role in building a bridge between Paratus and diverse foreign clients across the Pacific Ocean. We have successfully developed lasting business relationships, and we nurture a collaborative environment.
